WHY VOTE BY MAIL IN 2020?
  • It’s safer for everyone. It prevents crowding at the polls, keeping our communities, including our poll workers, safer.

  • It’s secure. The ballots will be counted on the day of the election at the Board of Elections. The hand-marked ballots will be passed through a machine to be counted, just like they would be at the polls.

  • It’s convenient. Fill out the ballot at your leisure. Have a chance to research the candidates from home with the ballot in front of you.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO VOTE BY MAIL
NOVEMBER 2020 ELECTION
  • Apply ASAP.

    • While you have until up to one week before the election to apply, we’re asking people to apply ASAP, so we don’t overwhelm the Board of Elections.

  • When you receive your ballot, send it back ASAP.

    • After you apply to vote by mail, you MUST send back the ballot to have your vote counted. If you forget to mail your ballot in, you can vote by bringing the ballot to your polling place. You can also mail or hand-deliver the mail-in ballot to the Board of Elections in Doylestown as late as 8 PM on Tuesday, Nov 3rd. A late mail-in ballot will not be accepted, even if it was postmarked before the deadline.
